The REACH regulation (CE) Nº 1907/2006 is the acronym of Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals. This regulation, which is directly applicable to all European Union member states, establishes provisions applicable to manufacture, imports, business or use of chemicals substances and/or substances in items.
The OK REACH certificate, provided by AITEX, ensures that the item or reference meets the requirements by the REACH regulation to textile and leather items, referred in its Annex XVII (Restrictions on the manufacture, marketing and use of certain substances, preparations and hazardous items) and Annex XIV (substances content of high concern- SVHC in concentrations no higher than 0.1% in the item).
